We had a very enjoyable and fun Easter with family at Auntie Meryl’s house in Escalon, CA (just south of Stockton, which is south of Sacramento by 1 ½ hours). Emma had a GREAT time with her 5 of her cousins (all girls on Easter and Emma is the youngest by 8 months) and did very well with her first ever Easter egg hunt. No real eggs for her (she’s not a fan of hard boiled eggs), but plastic eggs filled with money or stickers. She was not allowed to keep any of the candy, for we don’t allow her to have chocolate yet. She did get a few jellybeans, though, and she liked the pink ones. Emma really enjoys spending time with her cousins and will talk about them and what they did or said weeks afterwards. She is very lucky to have the extended family that she does...and there are so many cousins to choose from (smiles)!!
